STORFLAM range of Fire Retardants based on Inorganic Borate and Stannate chemistry. The Global business has
developed a strong expertise in the production of Fire Retardants and supported by a network of distributors,
the STORFLAM Fire Retardant range is sold world-wide to many polymer industries.
STORFLAM products impart superior fire and smoke performance in many polymer systems with and without
the presence of halogens. Antimony Trioxide replacement is a key feature, invariably coupled with
improvement in smoke performance, a property growing in importance. Part of Petroferm Inc. and
supported by a well equiped technical service laboratory including a cone calorimeter, Joseph Storey are
at the forefront of Fire Retardant and Smoke Suppressant technology.
We also manufacture other Inorganic Borates ranging from the Ammonium, Barium, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese,
Melamine through to the Potassium salt and these products find use in a variety of applications.
To complete our product range we produce the Trawlerdeck range of Heavy Duty Epoxy floor screeds
which have Ministry of Defence approval and have been used by the Royal Navy for many years.
